Sweet and sour chicken?

i am making sweet and sour chicken in a wok....Dose anybody have a great recipe?

  1. add a little oil to a wok and add 1 onion chopped 1 red pepper  and cut up the chicken in to strips add to the wok and stir and simmer till chicken is cooked add a jar of sweet and sour saurce and mix it together and stir and simmer for 15  min s add rice or chips or  some potato weddgers

    For the Sweet and Sour Sauce:

    INGREDIENTS:

    1/3 cup white or rice vinegar (Note: rice vinegar gives better results)

    4 tablespoons brown sugar

    1 tablespoon ketchup

    1 teaspoon soy sauce

    2 teaspoons cornstarch mixed with 4 teaspoons water

    PREPARATION:

    Mix the vinegar, brown sugar, ketchup, and soy sauce together and bring to a boil in a small pot. Mix together the cornstarch and water, add to the other ingredients and stir to thicken.

    (If desired, you can add 1 green pepper, cut into chunks, and pineapple chunks as desired after adding the cornstarch.

    For the Chicken:

    You could buy this in a shop, cut it anyway you like.

    For the Vege's (And Fruit):

    Pineapple, Green Pepper, Red Pepper, Bean Sprouts, Sliced Onion would be nice, don't flood the Sweet and Sour Chicken full of vegetables (and fruit) though!

  3. ..or slice red/green bell peppers, onion and chopped /tinned pineapple. Saute with garlic  chopped green chilli peppers and ginger and soy sauce (hot peanut/sesame oil). Remove from pan and add your chopped chicken breast to the juices to whiten. (A wee bit bok choi at this stage and/or coriander leaves would be ok.) Then pour your fried pepper/onion mix back in and simmer for about 5min with tomato sauce, brown sugar and chopped spring onion. Serve with boiled rice.

  4. CHINESE SWEET SOUR CHICKEN

    3 whole chicken b*****s

    1 green pepper, cut in strips

    1 c. diced celery

    1 chicken bouillon cube dissolved in 1/2 c. water

    1 tsp. Accent

    3 tbsp. apple cider vinegar

    1 (1 lb.) can bean sprouts, drained

    1 (#2) can chunk pineapple, undrained

    2 tbsp. water

    3 tbsp. vegetable oil

    1 sm. onion, sliced

    1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained

    1 tsp. salt

    1 1/4 c. brown sugar

    3 tbsp. cornstarch

    Debone chicken and cut into thin strips. Pour oil in skillet; add chicken and cook at medium heat. Stir until meat turns white, about 5 minutes. Stir in green pepper, onion, celery, chestnuts, bouillon, Accent, salt, vinegar and brown sugar. Cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Stir often. Add bean sprouts and pineapple. Mix cornstarch with water and stir into mixture. Simmer for 3 minutes. Serve over rice. Serves 4.

  5. cook chicken with olive oil,  minced garlic, chopped pineapple, celery, ketchup and if you like spicy, put a little bit of tabasco sauce.. you can change the chicken with meat. eat it with rice or mashed potatoes yuuumm
