Sweet potatoes?

here, they said that there are 130 calories in a medium sweetpotato/yam...and if they say so, while other sites say otherwise.. am i supposed to believe it? it is the national heart association....

okay. can someone just please tell me exactly how many calories there are in one medium sized yam?

See the stress in allowing others to determine how you should look .Imagine being afraid to eat 1 medium potato of any kind.Just bake or boil it and it won't matter......Blessings Yahoo

OK... A sweet potato is a really great meal. If you put olive oil of your choice and put it in your oven, and they will golden and its really good. Who care about calories the greater the colour the better it is.

There is a difference between a yam and a sweet potato which my account for the difference in calories.

Because potatoe sizes vary so much, it's hard to put an exact caloric number on it. Just assume 130 calories for a yam that is a decent portion size. By the way, the incredible amount of nutrition you get from sweet potatoes makes every calorie of them worth while!

its because yam is not the same thing as sweet patato but both are higher is calories than normal potatoes and am sure you know this by the way it is tastes sweeter
