Sweet sixteen party for a girl who's bit of a tom-boy. Have any ideas?

I need help picking a theam for my best friend's sweet sixteen praty. She's in to sports and cars, but she loves to go to partys and be all dressedup. So what should I do give her a sports party or a girley party.

You should set up like an obstacle course where she has to like change the oil on a '74 Chevy Nova and then throw a football through a tire, spray a whole can of cheez whiz in her mouth and chug a beer. Then you can give her some flannel shirts and a pair of hiking boots and have some of your gal pal's give her a lap dance. She'll love it.

maybe a combination of both. maybe have a dress up party for the girly part, but then have a car/sports cake. have it girly with a few things that are the other side or her. have fun :]

Go with an era.... 70s parties are always good.... Or 80s.... Then people can do what they want and be comfy.

how can you throw a sporty party ?? make the theme soccer and make everyone come in jersys?? no.. thts not cool.. it wont be a bad idea to throw her a girly party.. afterall she is growing up..  most tom boys become quite girly once they grow up.. its happened to a lot of my friends.. and im sure she would like to feel like a real lady on her 16th birthday.. all girls like to feel beautiful and glamourous... especially on their birthday.. so i guess you should go with the girly theme.

If you thnk that wont work.. you can have a punk rock theme.. teens like that...
