Swelling on leg just above the ankle?

about a month ago i got hit in between the side of the calf and the ankle in footy. its been sore to stamp my my leg on the ground ever since and today i got hit again in the same spot in footy and it swelled up a little again. could anybody tell me what it is? and how to heal it?

Ice it where it is swollen for 10 minutes (but no longer) a few times throughout the day, while elevating the area with pillows.

If you can, get some crutches to stay off the leg that is injured and see your doctor as soon as possible.
