Swift Adriano to yank away the Suffolk 545 at Mildenhall on 17th April
Mildenhall will become home for the Suffolk 545 on Tuesday, 17th April. Participating tonight are Supporting Nama, Heeldorunrun, Crinkill Magic, Ard Vark, Swift Adriano and Smooth Nation.
Three among the line-up have struck a victory in their most recent outing however, leading with the best credentials is Swift Adriano, Kinloch Brae’s two-year-old black son out of b***h, Swift Bluebay. Out of the eleven races that he has taken part in during
the new season, four were victories.
He shot off with scoring second in his seasonal debut on 8th January in the New Year 545 Maiden by completing the trip in 34.46 seconds. He missed the victory by a mere half length’s difference by which the winner, Goosetree Flash, led and timed
the distance in 34.42 seconds.
The 2/1 joint favourites of the race Cookes My Mate and Salacres Sparky, concluded the race one after the other, third and fourth.
Then on 6th March, Swift Adriano won over 545 metres at Mildenhall by clocking the track distance in 34.59 seconds and led the runner up of the race, Glynnscrosscecil, by nine lengths.
His third seasonal victory came on 20th March in the form of Owners’ Bonus Series Final at Mildenhall over 545 metres. He dominated the track by racing through the distance in 34.19 seconds and leading the field by 1 ¾ lengths.
Finishing the closest was Swift Maldini while taking up the third slot was the 6/4 favourite of the race, Blonde Playboy, who finished third after taking 34.33 seconds to conclude the race.
Pairing up the victories, Swift Adriano won the Spring 545 on 27th March at Mildenhall by timing the track distance in 34.24 seconds. He shoved the 7/4 favourite runner up of the race, Blackrose Monach, by a short head. Settling third behind the
winner was Smooth Nation.
Swift Adriano was to strike a hat trick on 3rd April by winning the April 545 at Mildenhall but he missed the opportunity by 11 ¼ lengths. He completed the trip in 34.99 seconds. The winner, Tain Flip, finished racing in 34.09 seconds. All the
four 3/1 collective favourites took hold of the first four positions. Smooth Nation ended third with Soviet Josie settled fourth.
The victory will not come easy because of the competitive line-up but Swift Adriano has all the chances of bagging the fifth success of the season.
