Swift Cougar heading on for victory in the Watch Coral TV Only In Coral Shops
Watch Coral TV Only In Coral Shops has brought together a highly competitive line-up that will race at Romford over 400 metres flat on Friday, 8th June. Taking up the challenge tonight are Swift Cougar, Riverside Lucy, Millwards Impact, Alfies Sam, Rebellious Mary and Threebearscameto.
Swift Cougar and Alfies Sam have struck hat tricks recently while Riverside Lucy just won back to back and grabbing the race today will mean that she will become entitled to a hat trick.
Kinloch Brae's two-year-old black daughter, Swift Cougar, out of b***h, Swift Pewter, is aiming the extension of her hat trick today. She rolled into the season on 28th January at Yarmouth but not to race rather to get drilled for the upcoming races.
She completed the 277 metres track distance in 16.71 seconds but even then could not claim her seasonal debut. She finished third in a 462 metres race at Yarmouth on 2nd February. Missing the next race to a second position led the two-year-old to two training sessions. They did not prove effective right on as the race right after them witnessed her finishing second.
On 17th May Swift Cougar won the first race of the season. She took 28.32 seconds to race through a 462 metres track at Yarmouth and led the runner up, Swift Cidona, by 3 ¾ lengths.
The second leg of the hat trick was in a Grade A2 462 metres flat on 23rd May at Yarmouth over 462 metres. Swift Cougar reached the other end of the wire in 28.28 seconds and led the runner up of the race, Risky Rosaleen, by ¾ of a length.
The runner up timed the distance in 28.34 seconds while the 2/1 favourite of the race, Gottabe Kinda, ended third.
Clocking the 400 metres track distance in 24.68 seconds on 29th May at Romford entitled her to a long sought hat trick. She led the runner up of the race, Kinda Close, by two lengths.
It will not be an entirely easy race for the two-year-old as the line-up is filled with talent and potential.
