Swift Frogma to upset Newmarket Flyway in Betfred The Bonus King Standard Trophy at Nottingham
Newmarket Flyway boasts a very strong profile, and knows how to beat even the best in business. Nevertheless, the punters should stick with Swift Frogma, who is in great position to crush his opposition in Betfred The Bonus King Standard Trophy, taking place
at Nottingham on Monday, August 6th.
The brindle dog has been producing good results over the past few weeks. At the start of last month, he sealed an emphatic victory at Coventry. After an unlucky ride at Oxford, Kinloch Brae’s son resumed his winning journey at Nottingham. In a 480 metres
open race, G. Ballentine’s trainee clinched the top rank by three and a half lengths.
Swift Frogma was a bit unlucky on his latest outing. Despite having a clear run, the hound could not challenge Mottos Blue and as a result, missed the crown by 1¾ lengths. He is facing some giants in today’s meeting, but it is very hard to underestimate
his class especially after the consistent work he showed lately.
Others in the crew are: Newmarket Flyway, Head Iton Eoin, Merlins Myth, Droopys Rory and Dunnes Joe. The 500 metres flat race will be started at 22:07 GMT.
Newmarket Flyway is a very powerful hound, but looks out of form these days. After ending up fifth at Nottingham, the black dog failed to get his act together, and could only beat the back marker last time around. It is hard to expect him to display a thumping
performance straight after two terrible defeats, which would have dented his confidence.
Head Iton Eoin needs a slice of luck to get back to the winning ways. The black hound was second to Little Gent at the end of last month. Dunnes Joe is in awful form these days, and does not have any chance whatsoever. Similar is the case with Merlins Myth,
who completed the order of finish at Coventry. Droopys Rory also finished at bottom of the chart last time out.
With most of the runners coming after suffering plenty of mess, it looks an ideal chance for Swift Frogma to continue his good work. We wish the best of luck to all the runners.
