Swift Julie to pull back form for the Bookmakers Standard Dup
With the backing of just the right credentials, it is hard to ignore the four-year-old brindle b***h, Swift Julie, who is the likely champion of the Grade OR Bookmakers Standard Dup. The 460 metres flat race will be contested by five other hounds at Henlow on Thursday, 8th November. The total prize money for the race is £150.
The first trap has been drawn by, Salacres Vision, while racing in black and white jacket tonight is, Helenas Sailor.
Kinloch Brae’s daughter is highly experienced and is not racing at the open level for the first time. She is very lightly raced during the current season. Besides the Grade T events, all her outings were at the open level, two out of the three outings were recorded as successes against her name.
The K. Davis trained won the Bedford Road Stayers on 23rd February, 2012 at Henlow over 692 metres. Racing out of the last trap in the field, the four-year-old did not take long to set her stance for the race, and distance herself from the rest of the lot. Keeping a firm grip on the lead throughout the track distance, she made it to the other end of the wire in 42.73 seconds.
Her unforgiving speed saw the favourite entry, Bubbly Swallow, race across the wire just by the gap of half-length.
Coming at terms with the third position was, Blackrose Monach.
The brindle b***h out of, Ladys Best Lass, extended her flawless form in the Animee Queen Mother Memorial Cup Trial Stakes – Duplicated on 28th February, 2012 at Sheffield over 660 metres.
Along with the winning form, the trap remained the same too. She developed a quick pace right after bursting out of the trap and then maintained the lead until the wire, concluding the race in 40.06 seconds.
The winning edge of a length had Mays Millhouse settling as the runner-up.
Her very last performance was truly disappointing, a sixth position after a trial session was just not justified. She could not recover timely from the bump that she incurred when racing in the second position.
The 5 to 1 shot for the race tonight has drawn the fifth stall to race from, and will find the field to be competitive.
