Swift Tigress all set to shine in A2 462m Flat at Yarmouth
Swift Tigress is geared up to run like a tiger and bag the first prize of £69 in Wednesday’s A2 462m Flat at Yarmouth. After a decent ride lately, the fawn b***h is all set to unchain the shackles and come out of her bad patch in a great fashion.
She has been running very well, but in defeat. After a few unlucky journeys, the M. Wallis-trained got her act together to some extent, presenting a fine show last time. She ran pretty well, but remained unlucky and as a result, missed the gold medal by
3¼ lengths.
A reasonable performance would have given her plenty of confidence and thus, it is hard to overlook her chances for the top prize. The August-10 daughter of Hometown Boy Nga out of Swift Blitz is set to face a powerful opposition.
Among her rivals are: Balinakill Pride, Jackdaw Summer, Nancy Wake, Ice Cool Light and Tictac Scrumpy. The action will start at 21:44 (GMT).
Balinakill Pride is also worth including, and we would be surprised, if he does not finish among top-3. Royal Impact’s 2-year-old son won an A1 event before his two awful performances in late May. As a result of two consecutive defeats, he has been brought
down to this class and this move is likely to work as a morale booster for him.
Ice Cool Light is standing in the red box following his brilliant victory at the start of this month. In an A3 meeting, J. A. White’s charge appeared with a classy act, nabbing the top prize by one and a half lengths. His record in this grade is not impressive
though.
Jackdaw Summer is also stepping down to this class, but we are unsure whether he will be able to make full advantage of his demotion. Tictac Scrumpy might fail to trouble the judge. Her confidence would be at a low after a shameful defeat last time out.
Nancy Wake might be confined to a spectator role against this line-up.
Our calculations suggest that Swift Tigress is going to present a bold show. Balinakill Pride, however, will make her journey a lot tricky. Good luck to all the runners.
