Swim Team..???

Question

ok so i want to join the swim team the only problem is that

when i get my period i dont know what to do because my mom wont let me use tampons but i use them anyway...but she'll ask me llater on how are you swimming while your on your period.......what do i do because i really want to join....

oh and is swim team funn..should i join

you can tell her you went to the bathroom right before and got in the water really fast, it will stop in the pool.  Swim team is really fun you should join!

I don't wear tampons when I swim. What I do is I go to the restroom immediately before and after practice, their is no bleeding during the time that you're in the water. This is what almost my entire swim team does, and no one has ever had any problems with it.

Yes swim team is fun. Joining my high school team was the best decision I ever made. It will be a lot of work though, but as long as you can deal with those first couple of weeks, then you'll have a great time and make tons of friends.
