Swim Trunks Etiquette?

I've been wondering this for a while now, but never bothered to ask anyone, so my question is, what is the right way to wear swim trunks? I use briefs, so would it be alright to wear them underneath the swim trunks, or do I not wear anything underneath at all? While we're at it, what about if I were to wear boxers or boxer briefs?

If the suit has a liner, you really don't need anything extra.  However, if you prefer to have something underneath to keep everything in place, wear a speedo and not underwear.  The speedo will dry faster and won't stretch in the water.  Also, have you ever just hung out in wet cotton underwear - nasty!

have you looked inside the trunks, I believe there is a liner. if you want something that will keep the package from being loose you might try a speedo., you can wear briefs with your trunks if you want to, but I wouldn't recommend boxers with trunks

Don't wear underwear with your swimsuit. It will take forever to dry. Wear a dpeedo underneath if you feel you have to wear something else, but swim trunks are made for swimming, nothing else is needed.
