I do not know what to do anymore. I have a fantail goldfish. they were perfectly fine 2 days ago.. I had to move them so I put them in a norm. bowl, they were there for about 45 min. then put them back in the aquarium. And that's when one of them started to float tummy up...I don't understand why. What do I do???

  1. This means it is sick!

They will continue to do this until they are better it is better!

The other one might need to be transferred into a different

    bowl!

The sick one has hope to live but until you know what it is let it fight it on its own!

  2. Cook a pea then peel it mash it and feed it to him. Also check your water parameters the disease can be be the cause of it too. Don't put em in a bowl!!! Thatll cause death. If he's on the surface now then he's not gonna make it. In other words he may die. =( sorry!

    Edit

Swim bladder DOESN'T spread its due to the water and overfeeding. The fishes swiming bladder will collapse so he will lose his bouyancy

  3. Seperate the sick fish from any other ones you have. It will get better on it's own. You really don't need a remedy for this, it is common among goldfish.

Feed him his normal food, at least twice a day. The container does not have to be big, just a small bowl. If you are using tap water, use water conditioner, you can buy it at any pet store. Make sure the water is room temperature. Not cold, not warm.
