Could any one tell me where I can find a disposable swim diaper that would fit a 6 year old? I look after an autistic 6 year old and I want to take him swimming, I’m not a “lazy parent” so please don’t jump down my throat.

  1. I found this site on the internet for that specific purpose.  I hope this helps.

They have their normal sizes listed, but also state that larger sizes can be custom made for specific cases.

Good luck to ya and I commend what you are doing for this youngster.  He is very lucky to have you in his life!

  2. I have found that the Huggie's run a little bigger than the Pamper's Splashers.  If the largest size is still too small then you can check out this website that has swim pants that fit infants to adults. I hope you are able to find what you need!

  3. I am not sure how big your 6 year old is, but Pampers Splashers come in a size 6, which my daughter who is almost 7 can fit in...She shocked me by being silly one day and put one on and said she was ready to go swimming! Most swim diapers can stretch pretty good, so you can probably try any that is in the biggest size available. (normally a size 6 is for 38 pounds and up)
