Swim suit material ...could someone tell me what that material used to make swin suit and bikinis called ??

Different materials are used by different manufacturers and sometimes it depends on the style of the swimwear. The one thing that's in most swimwear these days though is Lycra (the most well-known brand name associated with Spandex/Elastane); this is usually combined with manmade fibres such as nylon or polyester, which makes for quick-drying material that keeps its shape well.

As long as it contains lycra to stop it going all baggy in the water can be made of cotton, polyester.....
