  1. awww, it is a classic... see only pro swimmers would know about this. Excellent question!

Two ways to it. It's a bit tricky, though. The key is to relax your arm, from shoulder down. You can go from front to back or back to front, slaping you biceps to lats. Front to back is more likely to be successful at first. Like I said, need to relax you bi's and tri's before you attempt the swinging motion.

  2. It doesn't sound like swimming is the right sport for you, son.

  3. I don't think you should be in the pool.  You want to slap your biceps on your lats?  That sounds rather impossible to do as our bodies are not made in a way that our arms can slap our backs.

  4. as stated above ur arm needs to be relaxed. most ppls mistake is to try it with a tensed arm which results in failure as it is the bicep which is "flapping" and slapping against the lat.

also, many ppl tend to either use a movement from front to back, or side to side. it works best at more of a diagonal angle.

an easy way to think of how its done, is do the motion you would use for throwning a ball. you bicep is loose allowing it to move. the speed of the arm increases throughout the movement until the end where u stop suddenly when ur arm is in contact with ur side

hope these tips can get u slapping those biceps away :)
