Swimmable beaches in mexico?

Question

i keep hearing that some hotels are "right on the beach, and it's the only or best swimmable beach"

so which places have the best beaches- that arent just there to look at?

All beaches in Mexico are public.   There are a number that are hard to get to because of location and they may be in-front of a hotel.  Unless it's a natural barrier - beaches can't be closed
