Ya, so ive been swimming for 10 years, 16 years old, 8-9xtimes a week + dryland and I eat a very healthy diet (sometimes maybe go out with friends, u know) but cant seem to lose the weight! I dunno how but i just cant and Im thinking of using muscle milk, recommended by a friend, but does it work? I want the swimmer build (duh :P) but what can really get me there? If anyone has any pointers that i could use that would be greatly appreciated. Also if i do use muscle milk what workouts should i be doing and when should i take it?

thx!

  1. muscle milk is good, but swimming doesnt build muscle, try incorporating muscle building drills  with your swimming workouts, like swimming 100 meters  then doing pushups or pull ups, or just start weightlifting

swimming 9x a week will make you a faster swimmer, but wont do much with muscle milk unless you start building mass

  2. try switching up your routine. Jog a little bit better. I have never heard of muscle milk before. Sorry. If you change your eating and excersize routine you should lose weight. I have no idea why. but it works =]

  3. swimming infact DOES build muscle, so dont listen to the guy above

  4. Hey,i'm a competitive swimmer and i get bigger muscles and lose weight.  Go shopping and buy "muscle builder" put it in a blender with some bananas and some othere fruit. Take it before and after school. It deosnt tastes that bad but gets you strong. keep trying, and make it to the Olympics!!
