Swimmers ear does prescription get water out?

i got a prescription from the dr. but i was wondering if this JUST stops the infection or does it also drain the water out?

  1. Rubbing alcohol does work, but don't use straight alcohol, it will dry out the inside of your ears and that hurts.  mix a little bit of baby oil in with the alcohol and you'll be set.

    to answer your question, it gets the water out. It will help prevent swimmers ear but I don't think it is approved for continued use. Just use a little bit as you need, then switch to alcohol/baby oil when you run out.


  2. Pour rubbing alcohol (the green one) into your ear,this will get the water out for sure.
