so when ever i am doing anything that ends with freestyle into the wall i can not finish with my left hand. i broke my wrist from jamming it into the wall at the championship meet, and ever since then i havent been able to finish with my left hand. well at the championship meet this time i was coming into the wall and i should have finished with my left hand but i mentally couldnt force myself to do it so i floated in on my right side and lost the race by .019 seconds where as i most likely would have won if i finished with my left arm. if anyone knows anything that could help me over come this the help would be great! thanks

  1. Try slightly bending your elbow when you finish so there isn't as much impact on your wrist.

  2. instead of forcing it foward, try to pull it back just slightly at the last second. it should not be so painful or you could also use your glide momentum

  3. practice makes perfect so practice at race speed

  4. you need to practice race speed more at practice, so your stroke count is the same when you race; the truth is, if you race properly you'll always finish with the same hand because that's how you'd have to had practiced it during your training; just focus on keeping the stroke count the same
