Swimming Pools and Chipsticks snacks?

Question

when we were little in the late 70's, the highlight of the weekly swimming lessons was the rush for the vending machine on the way out.

Does anyone else remember they ALWAYS had salt and vinegar Chipsticks in them.

Didn't they taste great after the chlorine !!??

Awesome! I completely forgot about them, how nice were they when you piled out with your duffle bag. They were about 5p aswell - BARGAIN!

A bagel with veggie cream cheese after 6 am (Dawn Patrol) practice! But my all time favorite after swimming food is a good ol' PB & J! I used to love watching the water drip off my hair and while I ate them wrapped in a towel! They were always great after the chlorine. I remember sitting on the side of the pool wrapped up in a warm snuggly towel that smelled like tide and snuggle and eating 'em with my little sis!

I do remember that yes,but l always had the tomato soup from the vending machine!

Yes! and what a disappointment if they only had ready salted ones!
