Swimming after two months?

I've had my belly button pierced for literally two months now. Do you think I could go swimming today? I know the piercer told me at least two months, but i want to know when you went swimming after getting it done and if anything bad happened[infection,etc.]

  1. You should be fine. I would just make sure you clean it extra good after swimming.

    i went swimming after 2 months and nothing bad happened. but mine was completely healed.

    never got any infections,

  4. i went swimming 6 weeks after i got my bellybutton pierced.

    nothing happened and it was fine!!

    but you'd probably want to wash it after you go into the chlorine to disinfect it as it is still a new piercing :)
