Swimming and abs?

i really want to tone my abs and many people have been telling me swimming is the best exercise for abs.. so i was wondering how many times a week and for how long or how many laps do i need to do to get super flat abs?

  1. Me??? I have great abs and I swim almost daily 1-2 hours. It all has to do with repetition.


  2. Swimming doesnt help your abs it just helps lose calories and/or fat over your abs. What works is holding something about 10-20 lbs. over your chest and doing 25 crunches 3 times a day. WORKS GREAT! if you want them really toned, hole the weight and do crunches but come up to your left side so the middle of your chest is about at your left knee. Then do the same to the right. Worked great for me i'm ripped!!

  4. I really didn't start getting abs until I started doing 5 days a week, an hour and 30 mintues each workout.

  5. do fly kick on ur back and be sure to kick from ur hips. by 50 yards u should start to feel the burn.
