  1. well fist i would say practice doing that kiddy style called the worm it is really easy and fun, too!! it will make you way more flexible so you can  do your butterfly correctly! or if this doesnt work, which it should, then you should just practice  your other strokes, such as freestyle and backstroke!!! i really hope you try these techniques because then you will do your butterfly perfectly!!! TRUST MEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. truthfully.....u don't really want ur chest to get out of the water cuase u don't want to be going up in ur stroke, u want to be going forwards. make sure to have good hip movement with ur kick. getting ur chest out only should occur SLIGHTLY during ur breath. make sure to strengthen ur abs, that will allow for better control of u heightr while u swim.

  3. make sure you are using your whole body and not just below your waste. i had problems with that.. and actually we just worked on that today in practice that i wake up oh so early for.

  4. exercise. do crunches

  5. personally, i would go right back to basics, starting with a fly kick on you front, the progress to biondi which is where you do the pull under the water but you don't bring your arms out of the water and over the top, you recover by pushing your arms under the water past yu chest back towards your head, then progress to full stroke. Also, by doing this it will help you to pinpoint the areas where you are going wrong, but you don't want to come too far out of the water because this takes too long and wil slow you down. Also it could be down to lack of strength in your arms and core, so buy an endurance band to build up your arms and do crunches, the plank and leg raises to help strengthn your core.

    Hope this helps :)

  6. huh?

  7. You need to work with a coach or an instructor.  Sight unseen I have no idea what the problem is (it could be one of at least 5 different major things and countless small).  In general though, you don't want to go up, but rather forward in an undulation.  The more your try to lift yourself up, the more you'll end up sinking, etc. etc, etc.  You should check out http://www.goswim.tv for a lot of great videos and drills that may help you figure out what you need to do.
