Swimming and contact lenses?

Question

so at my school were starting swimming for pe, but i wear soft contact lenses.

will i be fine if i swim with goggles on, like my contact lenses wont fall out or anything?

and if goggles dont work what else do you suggest (like just taking contacts off)?

i have worn contacts for 5 years and swim with them constantly with and without goggles, and i have never had a problem. if you get water in your eye there could obviously be some irritation but nothing serious.

you should get special goggles that match your glasses/ contacts
