Swimming at YMCA?

well. i want to swim and prepare for the swim team over the summer so i decided to work my butt off.. but i'm not always going to have time for swimming.. so i was wondering if :

1) you could swim there without membership..like how much would it cost if you go there one day to swim as long as you want without membership?

I found that I can swim at the local High School for $2. a visit.
