what dryland exercises are good to improve conditioning?, and is jogging helpful?

I can swim a short distance but always have to stop midway down the pool.

Also whats the best way to breathe when swimming?

  1. also try to do brething exersises in the pool. like swimming under water and doing freestyle every 5 strokes or something if you keep on practising youll be able to swim more and more


  2. same thing Gabe said and if u get tired or get out of breath u have to push your self it will help a lot!!! gust try it for 2 weeks or more.

  3. Anything cardio wise will be great. Jogging, running, sprinting, ect. also work on pushups situps and other exercizes like that. pull ups as well. this will develop your core strength to give you stamina so you do thave to stop midway into the race!

    best way to breathe, well when your swimming, turn your head side to side while you swim, and take a breath. :)
