Swimming endurance??

hey all,

i hve a swimming test in a about an hour.. i have to swim 200 meters. i can swim well, but i am not an FABOULOUS swimmer, i only learned the important strokes about 2 months ago. i practiced swimming yesterday and did well over 200, however i did take several breaks inbetween.

does anybody have an tips on how to give myself an exrtra push to endure the fatigue??

  1. Ohh, I remember those tests. Fun, fun, fun =]

    I can't really think of anything you can do in an hour to increase your enduarance terribly, except redbull =]

    Goodluck, though, I'm sure you'll do fine.


  2. dont start fast. just keep breathing and turning and breathing and turning. it's only eight laps. you can do it!! :)

  3. u can!! u must take a lot of glugose drink!

    you must ot eat rice or bead!

    you must eat jz only banana!!

    that can help give u more energy and have a full felling!!

  4. Go slow and keep a steady pace so you dont tire yourself out.

  5. pace yourself and don't even try to do flipturns

    at the wall, it wastes too much energy.

    just think that 200 meters isn't that bad :)
