Swimming in ocean has badly chafed my...sac?

Of course, I mean s*****m but that just sounds like a dirty word to me. Anyway, I'm on vacation and have been spending many hours each day in the ocean, and I don't know if it's my bathing suit or the salt water, or a combination of the two, but my sac has gotten badly chafed and it really burns badly. It is almost like the mesh portion of the inside of my swimsuit has acted like a grater on them. When I take a shower, it burns horrible and whenever I go back into the ocean.

Is there anything that I can put on them to help treat this? Vaseline, some kind of lotion or ointment? I am not going to just stay out of the water but the pain gets worse every day. We rented jet skis today out on the ocean, and it hurt SO badly when there were bumps from the waves.

  1. Goldbond Goldbond Goldbond!!!

Trust me, it'll feel amazing. It's like straddeling a mountain creek.

  2. wow that really sucks...

step 1: REMOVE THE MESH FROM UR SHORTS

step 2: try epsom salt and luke warm water to reduced the swelling

i think however that it is more a combination of the sand and the mesh lining in ur shorts....

    best of luck

  3. Buy yourself a pair of microfiber boxer-briefs.  They'll keep your junk from rubbing together and the fabic will dry as quickly as your swimming trunks do.
