so over the summer i did tennis camp to try it out. it was alright. but i realized im not so competitive with that one on one deal. so my alternative would be swimming which is more an individual type of sport. i have scoliosis so i feel that im limited with the endurance of sharp pain. im gonna be a freshman so i need to start right. they're both in different seasons. should i do both? or which one. thanks :]

  1. do both. they are in different seasons + colleges look at extra curricular activities. the more the better.

  2. SWIMMING ROCKS, but it will be hard for you to compete in high-school age group if u have never swam before, but u should practice everyday, but i guess do whatever u want

  3. personally i would pick swimming. i have a friend who has scoliosis and swimming helped her back out A LOT. it was amazing. now she's able to do alot more things than she could before. tennis is a great sport though. used to play both. hope this helps. :-)

  4. hey.... well, i am a national swimmer and have many times represented my school in big competitions.... well tennis isnt bad or anything but to me, its better to go swimming because its more fun in the water and u dont sweat...lol... so, umh but since i like tennis too and love swimming i think that u should do both.... be more active....and trust me, swimming is as easy as pie.....

    WAS HAPPY TO HELP

    xoxo

  5. Swimming seems to be right for you, mentally.  It is also about the best thing you can do if you have scoliosis.  That's two thumbs up!
