Swimming pool, can I get bottom foam from somwhere else?

We are putting up a pool and I wanted to see if we can get foam we can put on the bottom of the pool under the liner somewhere else besides the pool stores. I could have swore they sell foam at like Home Depot? Does anyone know??

If you're talking about the foam they put under carpets, its not recommended for outdoor use. It has an anti-microbial effect, but only enough to be effective in-doors. It gets mildew and degrades rather quickly when moist. My pool had sand as a cushion under the shallow end.

I'm not sure if it's the same stuff, but you can insulating foam in most home improvement stores. Both the white Styrofoam, like coffee cups are made from, and blue poly-something.

in 4x8 sheets, and in larger fan fold sheets.
