Question:

Swimming pool help?

If space and money were not an issue, would you get an above ground pool or an in ground pool? My main concern with the inground pool is the resale of the house and the property taxes going up.

Any suggestions and/or advice would be great

  1. Inground certainly looks nicer.  I would not buy a house with an above ground pool.  But there are people who will not buy a house with an inground pool also.  If you plan to stay in the house awhile and enjoy the pool, then go for inground.  If you plan to put it on the market in the next 5 years or so, then maybe not.

A pool did not seem to have much affect on our property taxes.
