Swimming pool shock treatment effects on children?

My son went swimming in a pool suspected of overdoing and allowing swimming before the doses of shock treatment were able to stabalize... He complains of his eye (1) of blurry and hurting. Is there more than what I am thinking that it just needs to be flushed out?

You must make sure you clean it thoroughly or just go to a doctor or optemetrist and let him check it out, just to be sure.
