Swimming pools in boston???

Question

does anyone know where i can find a good public swimming pool in boston MA perferbaly in mattapan area best if you gave phone # or website with name as well as a short review if you have used the pool before thanks for your help in advance

go the Flaherty pool on Florence Street in Roslindale

You also have the pool on Turtle Pond Parkway in Hyde Park. I think that either the Bus #50, 33, or 40 stops at or has a stop at Turtle Pond and Vernon or Turtle Pond and Alwyn street, which is only a small walk <2-3 mins away> the Swimming pool is at 75 Turtle Pond Pkwy. The MDC runs this pool.  They also have a hockey/skating rink in the winter at this location.

Also, the Hyde Park YMCA has an indoor pool on river street in the Logan Square area <like 1175 area of River street>  But as always, you probably need a membership to the Y to use that pool.
