Swimming rules and regulations

Question

so tomorrow i have a swim meet and i have a bracelet that i wear during practice, and i was looking at the usa swimming rules and regulations, there was to much c**p on there that i didn't care about so i gave up looking. So am i aloud to wear a bracelet during a swim meet? and during my races?

as far as i know you are. you just not allowed to wear watches because you could have something on there that could pace you. but girls on my team would wear necklaces and braeclets. the worst that could happen is the officials would tell you to take it off.

There are no rules against jewelry in USA Swimming.  There are some summer leagues and high school sports associations that won't allow it so you can always ask an official before getting on the block.

i think you're allowed to, but i wouldn't. it would be too floppy and it would be uncomfortable, especially in a race. but i think you are allowed to.

ur allowed to, ive seen livestrong bands and earings worn at usa meets

If you're not sure then don't wear it.

It will only add drag and slow you down anyway.
