Swimsuit Issue?

Ok, so, whenever i dive into a pool, if a swimsuit doesn't fit like perfectly, the bottoms like roll down to mid thigh and i have to pull them up. Is there anyway to fix this or prevent it from happening other than buying new suits? Or, is there anyway to tell when I'm trying on the suit if it will do that?

  1. you could use a pin to tighten your bottoms or  if you have a sewing materials you can tighten it that way too

to tell the swim suit won't roll down while you're diving, it's usually tight on the elastic part of the swim suit bottoms, but make sure its not too tight!

    Good luck hope this helps!

  2. Many stores sell different sizes for tops and bottoms.  You may want to try a smaller bottom with a larger top.  If this does not work (or you already tried it!) then you could get a string bikini-- i have the same problem and I get one that I can tie to fit perfectly!  You could also consider getting a 1 piece- they are in style now (the ones with the ripples in the middle especially).  I like the American Eagle swimsuits because they fit me nicely but I think once you find a brand you like you should stick with it.  Also the Roxy might be good for you because they are smaller-fitting.

  3. I would suggest wearing a one piece suit. You could try safety pinning the bottom of the suit to the top to help prevent it.

  4. Um, if it's always a big problem I sugest getting a speedo or tyr 2 piece suit that is made for swimmers that are on a team. They have a drawstring in the bottoms that you can pull to adjust how tight they are.

  5. Buy a one piece if you want to swim, if its just for looks the 2 pieces don't stay in place well
