Question:

Swimwear for my kids? Girls? Is this okay?

i've decided to get my girls some more bathers as they are on sale and our own pool is finally built!

It sounds silly and odd, but i tend to dress them a little 'older' than i should. I know they like it, but i don't want to start that type thing myself!

So please, choose your 2 favourites for both girls.

Thanks a bunch! x

Millie is 8. She has millions of bathers, so i'll leave her out.

Scarlett [6yrs old]

  1. For Scarlett I would pick out 2 or 3 (I love the 3rd one bunches!)

And for Ava, definately the first (it's too cute) and second. The monkey pattern is adorable.

    Goodluck ;)

  2. well i like number 2 for scarlett. it's cute and a lot less expensive than the others! i also like 3 for her, too.

for ava i like number 1.

  3. I would choose 3 & 4 for Scarlett.

  4. did you check for available sizes?  For Scarlet #2 is only available in a large and #3 is only available in 18 months.

  5. For Scarlett I like number 3, it looks very little girlish-and for Ava I like number 2-beautiful colors. I think they are all appropriate for a backyard pool-it's ok for them to feel "grown" in the privacy of their own home! I would just caution taking them to a public pool or beach in anything too racey just because there are so many perverts in this world (which is unfortunate). The important thing is teaching your girls self respect and the fact that you are concerned about it shows that you have already taught them about self-respect-everything else will fall into place. Good Job, Mom!

  6. I say don't you dare pay $70 for a childs bathing suit.

    Here's Plan B:

Go to Mervyns, Target, Old Navy or limited too or something like that and get a suit for about $20 or less and call it a summer...............  Take the money you'll save and buy a less fortunate child that doesn't even have swimwear a suit.  You'll feel great and you'll teach the kids about sacrifice and giving.  Trust, you'll find the same type of cute suits in good quality at the other stores... the ones above are just way too expensive for 6 and 3 year old girls. Unless the suits will grow with the girls, they won't be able to fit those $70 suits next year.- Get more for your money.... go with plan B.

  7. scarlett: 2 or 3 - she's 6, not 16. leave the bikini till she's older

ava: any of them. they're all cute.

  8. I like 3 for both!! Especially for Scarlett. That is adorable.

  9. Your children should choose the bathing suits they like at this point.

  10. i would deff go with either 3 or 4 for scarlett and i would go with 3 for Ava there deff cute

  11. Scarlett: I like No. 2 & 3.

    For Ava:  I like No. 2 & 1.

Make sure you check all available sizes though. Happy swimming :)

  12. For Scarlett I think 3 or 4.

    3 is just adorable.

    For Ava I think 2.

Its the cutest for her age.

    Good Luck!

  13. 1 for scarlet and 3 for ava. I love your girls' names!

  14. For Scarlett I like 4,1, and 3 in that order. I don't like the Old Navy one.

For Ava I like 3 and 1 in that order. I don't like number 2.
