    I went to live in Germany for a looonngg time and went to Austria every weekend which is VERY close to SchweizeDeutsch. Don't use a web translator. They don't work.

  4. A quick tip to learn Swiss German is 2 different ways I know.

    1. Add Li at the word of any word. haus + husli

    kinder= kinderli

    just try that.

    2. Go to bern and sit with Polo Hofer at the bar or restraunt, he will straighten the situation out for you .

  5. I don't know of a web translator but the book Hoi! Your Swiss German Survival Guide might be worth a look-see.
