  1. I don't like generalizations, but I can share my personal impressions on the many Swiss people I work with and come across in both business and more informal situations.

They strike me as rather ascetic in terms of enjoying life and taking part in fun activities, where they are almost invariably cautious and reserved.

They tend to be observers is what I want to say. Their political correctness is what actually bothers me more than anything else. You will rarely hear what they really think.

On the other hand, I admire their sober, realistic approach to things, and lack of foolishness. They never squander time or money, and are - all of them, and I've met many! - modest in the best sense of the word.

I must say I found the Swiss from all parts equally easy to work with. You know exactly where you stand with them, and I like that.
