I have had this unit since 2004, no problems until now. For some reason now when I change functions or effects either directly or with the remote there is a loud accompanying bass buzz/bang (circa 1 sec). This occurs on all functions, DVD, TV and Tuner playback. I haven't changed the settings and have not introduced any new components into the set-up or the vicinity. I wondered whether this was a common problem associated with audio equipment of this kind/age and whether there is a known-solution OR if this is just due to the age of the components and I should look to replace the unit (although 4 years old seems a bit soon).
