Switch from comcast to fios?

Question

I am considering switching from Comcast (cable + internet) + Vonage to Verizon FIOS Triple Play.

I am considering doing this for the speed boost, and to keep my costs competitive with a bundled savings plan.

My question is: if I start the switching process, what chance is there that Comcast will attempt to keep me? Will they try, and does anyone have any current data on what they use as incentives? I might be willing to stay, but I would like to get an idea of what they might offer before I make my decision.

I heard everyone that goes to Fios is happy except for the phone service , it's the traditional service we grew up with not the Calling features that Cable Companies offer.   But  Internet is very quick and TV picture is crystal clear. i am waiting to make my decision until after everything goes Digital next year. I have Optimum's triple play and am Happy wtih everything the Internet speed with boost is very quick the HD picture quality is fine and the Phone service is what really makes me happy. When Verizon ran the Fios lines thru my street i called them and they told me the phone service is what we had all along before we went to Cable.

I work for verizon (repair NOT sales...)...but from everything i've heard FIOS is awsome!!! Now...comcast might offer u money off of your bill, but they lie a whole lot.
