I took Ortho-tro-low for about 4 years and 3 months. Then wanted to switched because I was having alot of break threw bleeding, spotting half the month and skipping periods. (for about 5-6 months in a row)This is my first month on YAZ. I am to pill #2 out of 4.the white pills where I should have my period. I have no symptoms of a period. When should I start to worry? When can I test? We haven't been safe either...besides the pill.

  1. sometimes my period doesn't come for 2-3 days after I finish my batch. I wouldn't worry till about the first day. Your body might just not be used to the change. I did ortho low for one month and my body reacted really bad. Yaz gave me headaches but I've been on the reg. ortho for about 4 years and it's great. No problems.

  2. CONGRATS ITS A GIRL!

  3. I have been taking YAZ for about a year now and I find that I don't get my period until pill 3. Its really nice, but scary. You could take a test just to be sure though.

  4. Oops.  I'd start to worry now, if I were you.

You should have started your period by now, with the white pills, but it's hard to tell since you switched.

Best bet is to get a pregnancy test, pee on the stick and read your fortune.
