I just purchased a digital bundle from timewarner, but after installation only one out of six of my phone outlets work. Any ideas? (computer and TV are fine)

  1. The DSL filter thing might make sens if TWC dealt with DSL. But TWC is a cable company.

I think the TimeWarner installer only hooked up one of the six phone outlets to your telephone access point (TAP) on your router. Hopefully all six outlets start at a single point where your old phone service used to come into your house. You would then patch your six outlets back to the TAP. You can do this yourself and save the service call.

  2. that's right! that the way is suppose to work!!!

you get the main-base-phone with build-in router/firewall....sometimes 1 extension phone...(I got one for free)...you can not use a digital phone( VoIP) on analog lines....unless you do the whole house VoIP wiring....

  3. You most likely need filters on the other lines, I know with my DSL any phone line (other than the computer) needs a filter to keep that line from being affected. You can call time warner to confirm this.
