Question:

Switching frames of my glasses?

Is that possible? To switch the style of my glasses, because I just want a different pair of frames. I practically never wear my glasses in public, but I think I look okay in them, I just wish I could have cuter frames. Maybe some designer ones, if they aren't too expensive. If I went to opti-care could they do something like this? And what is the cost?

PS.

I'm aiming for thicker frames

  1. You can absolutely get that done, so long as your current lenses aren't too small for the frames you want.  Most optometrists would be happy to do this.  Good luck!

  2. Look for adds and sales. The odds are very high that you would need new lenses, you couldn't just switch frames. Look for those $99.99 deals.

  4. Usually, no. You cant. You can get new lenses that fit your new frames in the same prescription though.  The only way you can do this is to get rimless frames.
