Switching from soy formula?

Ok, so I am going to call the doctor on Monday, but I was just wondering if anyone had any experience in this. My son had crusty eyes for a month after he was born and was always a little finicky. I tried Gentle ease after trying regular formula. I then tried Soy and the crustiness went away and he hasn't been finicky. However he is now 9 months old. I give him a little ice cream here and there and he's been eating the Yobaby yogurt which consists of milk. Do you think that I should try switching him back to regular formula?

I don't see the point of switching him now, especially since you have had good luck with this formula.  But still ask your doctor just in case.
