  1. Just start filling up using 91.

  2. No.

We have never removed the gas from our bikes when we refueled with better fuel. .

My husband frequently adds 91 or 93 gas depending on how the bike is running.

Mid-grade is just a mix of low & high grade in most cases anyway.

  3. just add the 91 to your tank, it will take 1 tankful to get rid of the 87 and then you will be running the 91 octane.

  4. Just start using the 91.

By the way, if it's not 'pinging', there is no reason to change to a higher octane gas.

Higher octane does not mean 'better'.

Unless you have a higher performance, high compression engine, all you achieve by using higher octane gas is less money in your pocket.

The octane rating is a measure of the resistance of gasoline to autoignition (pinging) in spark-ignition internal combustion engines.

  5. No, just start using 91.
