Switching to epiphone les paul custom?

i have been playing the acoustic guitar for almost half a year and i want to switch to an electric. is an epiphone les paul custom a good guitar to start with even if i have experience with a guitar?

I was in the same boat as you were. I played my acoustic for a couple of months and then I wanted an electric. So I myself bought an Epiphone Les Paul Standard and I do not regret it a bit. It is a really durable guitar and you can play almost any style of music with it. I matched mine with a Line 6 Spider II amp (good for beginners because it has many effects built in) and I absolutely love it. Go for it dude.
