Question:

Swivel table for cutting open boxes?

I work in a pick packing warehouse. And I have to cut open many boxes weighing up to 1kg to 15kg which are to be picked from. I don't know the name therefor I'm having trouble finding it or a supplier that has these. But it's basically as swivel round top table where you place a box on it and it rotates around in a 360 degree motion so it is easy to cut around the top edges of the box, and it has wheels so you can wheel it to the right place on the rack. Does anybody know what this is? or a link to one?

  1. I did not find a manufacturer, but I believe have a link to what you are describing:  Patent #5544997 Device for expediting the cutting of boxes, April 1998.  It is described in part as follows:  "a free-wheeling turntable is used to support the box being cut and a box positioner is disposed adjacent thereto to raise one edge of the box when the same is being cut."  You can check out the link and then you may want to contact the firm that handled the patent, John G. Mills and Associates, to see if they will give you information regarding its manufacturer.

    See source link below.

Hope that gets you closer to what you're looking for.
