What is the difference between the waxes meant for warmer temperatures and cooler temps? I normally use the all purpose but the wax was on sale so I got some CH7 which is for 28-18F and some CH 10 which is for 32-50. What would happen if I was skiing and the weather changed? Also what is the difference?

  1. some burn much faster and some burn slower.

  2. When the temperature changes while you were skiing, the snow gets more abrasive and sticky. The wax I use is ironed into the bases several times a week and then can be used until the wax is gone. Start with the colder wax in the morning and rub the warmer wax on later as needed, if it gets warmer.

  3. I find in Europe that CH6 tends to cover most conditions.

I usually carry a tube of liquid wax incase it gets warm....
