Swollen, red, Irritated v****a?

Question

OK.. I know this is weird.. but my v****a is sore and really swollen. NO i DO NOT have and STD. I work for a medical facility and I was just tested about 3 weeks ago and everything came back negative. My husband is in the army and is deployed and he was tested before he left (it's mandatory for all deployment paperwork). He's been gone for about 2 months now and then this started last night. I dont know what it is and it's never happened to me before. I'm a little embarrassed to ask one of the dr's I work with so I figured what the h**l try here before I embarrass myself to a co worker. So it's def not an STD but what else can it be?

That happens to me when I use soap that has perfume in it. Try switching to Ivory or anything with NO perfume.  If it does not get better soon I would go to the dr.

Hmm you could be allegric to a body wash that you use, or shaving cream that you use if you shave your private area. Or it could be a possible other type of problem... I would go to the doctor and have them look at it and see what they say about it. An since you have already gotten tested for stds they prolly wont test you again because your test results were negative. But I would definatley find out what is going with your v****a. Good luck!
