I'm 39 weeks, due the day after tomorrow. All I've done the past 2 hours is search this site and take a bath and all of a sudden, WHAM, my right foot is HUGE. It's SO swollen. It hurts to walk, I feel like it's going to burst! I haven't had any swelling my entire pregnancy except my fingers a but. Help.. anyone ever have this?! Does it mean anything?

  1. I have had one ankle that was swollen before but not my whole foot, and it was never seriously painful.  Try proping it up for a little while, and see if that helps.

and I love the the name Kaden (that's my sons name). Congrats, and good luck.

  2. call the doc. if your BP is high. you might need medical help. i am not joking

  3. Ok What I read is that if you are having severe swelling for no noticeable reason only in one foot you need to call your doctor...

It could be a sign of a blood clot.

Call your doctor just to check...

  4. go get checked buy the doctor just because of blood clots im not trying to scare you it could just be fluid

  5. Same thing happen to my cousin.  Everything was fine in her case but I would recommend calling your doctor.  Good luck. :)

  6. My sisters friend had that, one LEG was seriously swollen. The doctors checked for a blood clot and nothing! She had to limp the entire time throughout her pregnancy and they told her that she had a pinched nerve. If you're worried, ask your doc but I'm sure its nothing serious since its just your foot. Elevate it and ice it. :) Congrats on ur upcoming baby.

  7. This could be a sign of preeclampsia, a serious condition.

call your doctor if you notice that one leg is significantly more swollen than the other, especially if you have any pain or tenderness in your calf or thigh.

it's not a good sign when its sudden  i would call or go to th ER

    good luck

  8. that is weird and the only thing i can think of is watch your sodium intake

    drink ALOT of water

good luck with the baby !
